Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by MBY Logistics (“MBY Logistics”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Scope of Services

MBY Logistics provides logistics and shipping services, including:

  • International parcel shipping (air)

  • Air cargo (commercial goods)

  • Sea cargo and container shipping (FCL & LCL)

  • Domestic courier services

  • Procurement and sourcing coordination

  • Container Management, cargo consolidation and shipping (where applicable)

We coordinate shipments through trusted freight carriers and logistics partners.

3. Booking & Quote Acceptance

  • All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client.

  • Final charges may vary if shipment details (weight, dimensions, contents) differ from the declared information.

  • A shipment is only confirmed once payment is received and verified.

  • MBY Logistics reserves the right to decline a shipment if information is incomplete or inaccurate.



4. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate shipment details.

  • Ensure items are properly packed for transport.

  • Declare the correct value and description of goods.

  • Confirm that items are not restricted or prohibited.

  • Provide required documents for customs clearance (if applicable).

 Incorrect declarations may lead to delays, fines, or shipment refusal.

5. Payments

  • Payments must be completed before shipment dispatch.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, mobile money, Zelle, Money order, cash, check, or other approved channels.

  • Proof of payment must be submitted for verification.

  • All charges must be cleared before delivery.

MBY Logistics reserves the right to hold shipments until payment is fully confirmed.

6. Customs & Duties

  • Customs duties, taxes, and inspection fees at destination are the responsibility of the receiver unless otherwise agreed.

  • MBY Logistics does not control customs clearance timelines.

  • Delays caused by customs authorities are outside our direct control.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

MBY Logistics does not accept:

  • Dangerous or illegal goods

  • Cash, money, or valuables

  • Hazardous or flammable materials

  • Government-prohibited goods

If restricted items are discovered, we reserve the right to suspend or refuse the shipment without liability.

8. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only.
Actual delivery may vary due to:

  • Carrier schedules

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs processing

  • Public holidays

  • Regulatory inspections

We will provide updates when delays occur.

9. Liability

  • MBY Logistics coordinates shipments through carriers and partners.

  • Liability for loss or damage is subject to carrier terms and applicable regulations.

  • Insurance coverage must be requested before shipment dispatch.

  • Claims must be reported within a reasonable period after delivery.

MBY Logistics is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect declarations or prohibited goods.

10. Storage & Consolidation

Where storage or cargo consolidation services are provided:

    • Storage duration and fees will be communicated in advance.

    • Goods not claimed within agreed timelines may incur additional charges.

11. Tracking & Communication

Clients will receive shipment updates via:

  • WhatsApp

  • Email

  • Tracking reference (when available)

It is the client’s responsibility to provide correct contact information.

12. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Once a shipment has been dispatched, cancellations are not permitted.

  • Refunds may be considered only if services have not yet commenced.

  • Any refund processed may be subject to administrative deductions.

13. Changes to Terms

MBY Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions.
Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised date.
